John Lewis Home Summer 2017
In line with the new content plan, I evolved the summer output, elevating the print piece from a furniture catalogue to an editorial-inspired publication. Content continues the new look customer journey from spring through to autumn with premium photography and lifestyle-led ideas.
The focus is on outdoor living, featuring beautiful imagery and key product stories from John Lewis' own brand interior design styles as well as high-season trends. The brief was to create versatile, engaging and useful stories, stills and motion, that worked across all channels, ensuring brand consistency for customers throughout the season.
As always, ideas for moving image have been designed to be edited as smaller clips that work seemlessly as longer edits. There are two contrasting trend pieces reflective of the styles they represent: A simple, stylish, elegant ‘how-to decorate a room’ video, made more interesting with split screen detail shots; And a family fun, up beat time-lapse look at product.
